Leigh Griffiths insists he is concerned only with Celtic as Ladbrokes Premiership rivals Aberdeen set themselves for another tilt at top spot this week.

The Hoops striker scored his 30th goal of the season in the 2-0 home win over Ross County on Saturday to take Ronny Deila's men three points clear of the Dons with defender Dedryck Boyata also on the scoresheet.

Aberdeen, who, like Celtic, have played 25 games, get the chance to go level on points against Inverness on Monday night - the Glasgow club have a vastly superior goal difference - and then face Partick Thistle on Friday night where they could go to the summit before Inverness visit Parkhead on Saturday.

However, Griffiths, happy with his form - "It has been not a bad few months" - remains focused solely on the champions.

"We just concentate on what we do," he said.

"Aberdeen go about their own business but it is all about what we do.

"We are still top of the league. We wanted a good victory and we will prepare well this week and look forward to Inverness on Saturday."

While Griffiths is the hero of the Hoops support, Stefan Johansen seems to have fallen out of favour.

Some supporters cheered in the 75th minute when the midfielder - voted player of the year by the fans last season - was replaced by Tom Rogic.

However, Deila offered up a robust defence of his fellow Norwegian.

"Stefan Johansen has had a tough start to the season but in the last month he has played very well.

"He was one of the best on the pitch, he created a lot and worked really hard.

"He is a top quality player, a player giving a lot of things on and off the pitch to the team and I love having him here at Celtic."

Ross County boss Jim McIntyre, who hopes the dislocated shoulder suffered by defender Marcus Fraser will not rule him out of the League Cup final against Hibernian at Hampden Park on March 13, remained upbeat despite the defeat.

The Staggies finished the day still in fourth place but only by one more goal than Dundee and having played a game more than the Dens Park side but McIntyre said: "It is all there to play for.

"With Dundee's victory over St Johnstone on Friday night and other results on Saturday, it is getting tighter and tighter and it's game on, as simple as that.

"This club has been in relegation battles for the past couple of seasons so from that side of things the next eight weeks is an exciting time."
