FORMER Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has been included in Chris Coleman's Wales squad for Euro 2016 despite fracturing his leg earlier this month.

It seemed like the ex-Hoops star's hopes of making the cut for the tournament were over when he suffered the injury while playing for Crystal Palace on May 7.

However, he was part of the pre-tournament training squad and his remarkable comeback has been completed by the news that he has made the 23-man squad.

There is a scattering of Scottish Premiership representation, with Inverness Caley Thistle goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams and former Aberdeen loanee Danny Ward picked.

Striker Simon Church also makes the list after an impressive loan spell with the Dons, during which he scored six goals in 13 games.
