HIBS have begun their search for a new manager after Alan Stubbs last night agreed to join Rotherham United.
Stubbs will leave Easter Road after two years in charge, during which he led the club to their first Scottish Cup win in 114 years last month.
However, he's set to return to England to join Championship club Rotherham after failing to earn promotion to the Scottish Premiership with the Hibees.
The Edinburgh Evening News says that former boss John Hughes could return to the club after Stubbs held positive talks with the Yorkshire club yesterday.
Rotherham chairman Tony Stewart said: "We have agreed terms on a deal for three years and both sides are happy with what's what. We don't expect any obstacles."

Hibs could receive around £100,000 in compensation for Stubbs' departure, as he has a contract in Edinburgh running until 2017.
Hughes, who left Inverness Caley Thistle at the end of the season, is one of the names to have been linked with the job and is the bookies' favourite.
The likes of John Collins, Alex McLeish, Stuart McCall, Owen Coyle and ex-Celtic boss Neil Lennon have also been touted as options.
