NICKY LAW is confident Stuart McCall can bring out the best in him once again after he clinched a third deal with Bradford City.

The former Rangers midfielder has penned a two-year contract at Valley Parade and will be reunited with McCall once again.

After first linking up in Yorkshire, it was the 52-year-old who brought Law north of the border to Motherwell from Rotherham United and the pair then worked together during McCall’s time at Ibrox.

Law said: "I've always said that no-one believes in me more than Stuart. His belief in me is huge and that gives me great confidence.

"He's always seemed to get the best out of me, especially in my previous spells at Bradford and my two years at Motherwell. If I could hand-pick one manager to work under, it would be Stuart.

"To come back to a club where I thoroughly enjoyed my time before as well, I don't think I could ask for a better move.”

The capture of Law is McCall’s first signing since he returned to Bradford last week as he looks to lead the club back into the Championship this season.

The 28-year-old has turned out for the Bantams twice already in his career as he made loan moves from Sheffield United in successive campaigns.

Law found first team action hard to come by last term as he struggled to make an impact at Ibrox under boss Mark Warburton but he reckons the best is yet to come as he gets down to business in Bradford.

He said: "That is something the manager said to me when I was talking to him about joining. He said that I should be entering my peak years now.

"I have to agree with him, and I am hopeful Bradford will reap the rewards of that. I hope this club does get the peak of my career.

"After a long time away, I can't wait to see the fans again and play in front of them - they might not recognise me now though with my hair gone! I just can't wait to get started."
