MARTYN WAGHORN is confident Rangers are on the right track for the new campaign thanks to Mark Warburton’s summer shopping spree.
The Ibrox boss has added nine players to his squad in preparation for a crack at the Premiership title this term.
Waghorn hit four goals to fire the Gers to top spot in Betfred Cup Group F and is pleased with how Warburton’s side are shaping up ahead of the big kick-off.

He said: “We have brought in a great amount of quality to the squad from last year, which is what we needed to push on to where we need to be, which is pushing on to the title and going for bigger and better things.
“The boys that we have brought in have added great quality and the likes of myself and the forward boys can really thrive off that, learn from the experience they have brought in and really get going.”
