CELTIC have confirmed that 20-year-old midfielder Jamie Lindsay has moved to Greenock Morton on loan until the end of the season.
The Scotland Under-19 international spent the last campaign at Dumbarton, where he made 23 Championship appearances and was crowned as the club's Young Player of the Year.
Lindsay has been training with the Bhoys first team throughout the summer but will now return to the second tier and join up with the squad at Cappielow.
A Celtic club statement read: "Celtic midfielder Jamie Lindsay has joined Greenock Morton on a season-long loan until June 2017.
"The 20-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Dumbarton, winning the club's Young Player of the Year Award, and returned to Celtic Park in the summer.
"He was part of Celtic first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Slovenia, and last week he scored a superb individual goal for Celtic's Development Squad in their 3-1 win over Real Sociedad in the SupercupNI.
"Everyone at Celtic wishes Jamie every success during his loan spell with Greenock Morton."
