KENNY MILLER insists Aberdeen will be Celtic’s biggest challengers in the Premiership next season… for second spot in the standings.
Parkhead skipper Scott Brown claimed this week that it would be the Dons that would be pushing Brendan Rodgers’ side hardest during the new top flight campaign.
Miller said: “He's probably right ... for second place! I don't think Broony even got the right scores for the games against Aberdeen.
“He said they came to Parkhead and took points off them but they beat them twice. I think you have to take what Broony said with a pinch of salt.”
The Old Firm will go head-to-head for the Premiership title in the coming months after Rangers returned to the league following a four year absence.
And Miller insists the Hoops squad won’t underestimate the threat Mark Warburton’s side will pose to their ambitions of securing a sixth successive league flag.
"Let's be honest about it," he said. "He knows from the [Scottish Cup] semi-final last year where we won on penalties but we dominated that game.
“We were worthy winners and if we didn't win it in normal time it should have been extra time. He knows the challenge that we're going to bring them this season.”
