STRIKER Nadir Ciftci is hoping he can hang around to be part of Brendan Rodgers’ revolution after describing the Celtic boss as the best he’s ever worked for. The Turk has found first-team action hard to come by this season but captained a fringe side against Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup in Limerick on Saturday.
Ciftci spent the second half of last season out on loan at Eskisehirspor in Turkey and would seem to be a prime contender to be moved on again this term having fallen behind Leigh Griffiths and new arrival Moussa Dembele in the pecking order.
The former Dundee United man revealed there has so far been no discussion about him going back out on loan and hoped he could stay at Celtic to learn further from Rodgers.

He said: “I will speak with the manager about my future. I have said this before and I will always say it - he is the best manager I have worked under. His quality is so high.
“I have only been working with him for a few months but I have learned so many things already. I will listen to whatever he says. I just want to do my best for him and for the club. Hopefully it is going to be here. I have had good chats with him so far.
“We’ve not spoken about me going out on loan. If something like this comes along we have to think about it but I haven’t thought about it yet to be honest.”
Ciftci believes the whole club has been transformed under Rodgers. He added: “It feels much different – football-wise and atmosphere-wise. The way we play, the way the manager wants us to play, the way he sets up everything - the atmosphere comes from that. The stadium is getting fuller and fuller because the way we are playing people are wanting to come to our stadium. Trust me, this will only get better and better the longer the season goes as it’s only been a couple of months so far.”
