Scot Gemmill has announced his Scotland Under-19 squad to face Greece, with almost half of his players coming from Celtic and Rangers.

The youth side will travel to Athens for two friendly matches against Greece on September 3 and 5 in preparation for the European Championship qualifiers kicking off in October.

Six Hoops youngsters and three from the Light Blues have been named in the 20-man squad, while Aberdeen and Dundee United have both had two players called up.

Gemmill's side will face Liechtenstein, Israel and Andorra for a place in the elite round of the competition in October, with the finals due to be played in Georgia next July.
