BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER has revealed on social media that Manchester United will be his last European club amid rumours over his future.

The midfielder has made himself available to manager Jose Mourinho, but has been training alone and with the youth team since the Portuguese's arrival earlier this summer.

The former Bayern Munich star, who retired from international duty with Germany after Euro 2016, arrived at Old Trafford on a three-year deal last July and made 31 appearances for the Red Devils last season under Louis van Gaal.

United have since made the world record £89 million signing of fellow midfielder Paul Pogba.

The German wrote on Twitter today that if he leaves it won't be for another European club.

He wrote: "MUFC will be my last club in Europe. I respect other clubs, but Manchester United was the only one which could make me leave Bayern Munich.

"I will be ready, if the team needs me. This is all I can say about the current situation. I want to thank the fans for the amazing support over the recent weeks."
