HAMILTON ACCIES have announced the signing of former Queen of the South goalkeeper Robbie Thomson on a free transfer.
The club are currently facing something of a crisis in the position after confirming on Twitter on Friday afternoon that Remi Matthews, Gary Woods and Alex Marshall are all out with injuries.
Thomson, a Scotland youth international, has arrived at Accies after being released by Queen of the South before Deadline Day on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old made 35 appearances for the Championship club last season, keeping 10 clean sheets, and is the son of Ross County goalkeeping coach Scott Thomson.
“I am delighted to be here and look forward to this new challenge," said Thomson.
Hamilton are currently in sixth place in the Premiership after beating Ross County 1-0 last weekend, and face Hearts at Tynecastle after the international break.
