DE VRIES (6): Still struggling to convince. One kick-out to Simunovic that was almost intercepted by Kris Boyd in the opening stages and then booted a post when he was beaten by Souleymane Coulibaly’s first half strike. Went off at the break with what Brendan Rodgers described as a chest strain but will be interesting to see just who takes the gloves for Wednesday’s visit of Manchester City.

LUSTIG (7): Solid defensively and got forward in support too. Still has a bit to go to get to the form he showed a few seasons back for Celtic but has looked like a key cog on the Hoops backline.

SIMUNOVIC (8): Impressive, strong and commanding display from the Croatian defender. Looked comfortable at the back, although to be fair there wasn’t too much for him to do as Celtic accelerated away from their hosts as they game went on. Might have felt his header that led to Leigh Griffiths’ goal was going in.

SVIATCHENKO (7): Good all-round display from the defender who linked well with Simunovic. The duo look as though they could have the rudiments of a strong defensive partnership and they worked well in tandem with one another.

TIERNEY (8): Another eye-catching performance from the youngster. Aggressive and composed when under pressure defensively but also excellent going forward. Set up the opening goal with a cracking cut-back for Moussa Dembele and was unlucky not to find the net himself as the game wore on with a couple of impressive efforts.

FORREST (8): Scored arguably the pick of the bunch with a fine effort for Celtic’s third goal when he linked well with Tom Rogic. Showed his own quick feet to dance his way through the Killie defence before sinking his shot into the net. Has scored five now this season and is oozing confidence.

BITTON (7): Did what he had to do in terms of breaking up play and getting the ball out to the creative players. Can sometimes slow the pace of the game down by not moving the ball quickly enough but was a decent all-round performance.

ROGIC (8): Nice movement and clever touches with the ball at his feet. Had a hand in much of Celtic’s continual attacking play and added the final goal, although Jamie MacDonald will feel that he should have kept it out.

BROWN (8): Strong performance from the Celtic captain who has started the season well. Linked up with Bitton as the two defensive midfielders and allowed those around him to play. Also got forward, though, and came close to adding his name to the scoresheet in the first period.

SINCLAIR (8): Consistently impressive from the former Aston Villa player. Is well on his way to catching the fabled Jimmy McGrory with his goal stats; the player has not netted six goals in six league games, just two away from levelling with Celtic’s greatest ever goalscorer.

DEMBELE (8) Netted twice and could have had another perfect hat-trick but for a header that veered just over the crossbar. Deceptive at times in that he looks to have little influence on the game but has shown a real clinical disposition at times when in the box. Replaced by Griffiths just after the hour mark.

GORDON (5): On at the interval for the injured De Vries and not much to do as most of the action was played out at the other end of the pitch. Interesting to see now whether he is still in the position for Wednesday’s game against Manchester City.

GRIFFITHS (6): Picked up where he left off when he came on for the first time in a month and promptly found the net. Unselfishly handed the ball over for Celtic’s penalty to Scott Sinclair.

ROBERTS (5): On in the latter stages but didn’t really impose himself on proceedings.
