CELTIC striker Moussa Dembele has been nominated for the 'Golden Boy' award for the best Under-21 player in Europe.

The accolade, run by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, features a 40-strong shortlist of players who represent a top-tier side in Europe.

Manchester United's Anthony Martial picked up the prize in 2015 and previous winners since its 2003 inception include Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Paul Pogba.

Dembele faces stiff competition for this year's prize, with the likes of Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman, Tottenham's Dele Alli and Man Utd striker Marcus Rashford also nominated.
