DUNDEE have announced the signing of Canada international Marcus Haber until the end of the season after a successful trial at the club.
The striker, who was a free agent after leaving Crewe Alexandra in the summer, spent the last week on trial with the Dens Park club and impressed manager Paul Hartley sufficiently to earn a permanent deal.
Haber has previous experience of top-flight Scottish football, having scored four goals in 48 appearances for St Johnstone between 2010 and 2012.
The 27-year-old former West Brom front man also has 23 caps for Canada and scored in their 4-0 friendly win over Mauritania a fortnight ago.
His previous clubs include Vancouver Whitecaps, Exeter City, Stevenage and Notts County and he found the net 10 times for League One Crewe last season.
