Partick Thistle defender Liam Lindsay may be available for Wednesday night’s match against Dundee, as the neck injury he suffered in the draw with Ross County turned out to be not as serious as first feared.
Lindsay was taken to hospital in a neck brace on Saturday night after colliding with Jags goalkeeper Ryan Scully and being stretchered off during the game at Firhill.
After precautionary checks though, the 21-year-old was released on Saturday evening, and he was back at Firhill this morning to be checked over by the club physio.
While still stiff and sore from the incident, Lindsay may be able to make the squad for the crucial match at Dens Park, with an update on his condition expected from Jags manager Alan Archibald tomorrow.
