TOM ROGIC insists his superb form this season has been all down to his new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Australian international has been a revelation for the Hoops this term and recently netted a superb winner at Aberdeen.

And the 23-year-old midfielder reckons the influence of Rodgers, as well as playing in the Champions League this season, have been pivotal.

He said: “He’s been very good for the club. He’s taken them to a new level and I think everyone’s enjoying working under him.

“For me personally it’s been fantastic and hopefully it continues.

“You learn a lot when you play at that Champions League level. The matches can be quite testing.

“It’s enjoyable and where you want to be as a player.

“We have a Cup final and more Champions League games coming up so it doesn’t stop.”

Rogic is in Bangkok preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Thailand – who have been offered over £20,000 a man to beat the Aussies by their FA President.

Rogic, however, remains focused on performing for both club and country.

He stressed: “I’m definitely not getting complacent. I still have a lot of work to do to get to where I want to be. Hopefully I just keep working hard and improving.

“We have quality here in the Australia squad and particularly in midfield.”
