WES FODERINGHAM Another solid showing from the Gers keeper was rewarded with another clean sheet. Made a couple of saves when called upon and once again looked to play the ball longer from the back. 7

LEE HODSON Kept his spot at right-back after his impressive showing against Aberdeen last time out. Was effective at both ends of the park once again. 7

DANNY WILSON Given the nod to replace the suspended Clint Hill and did his chances of a place against Hamilton no harm. Unlucky not to get an assist after a terrific pass that set up Miller. 7

ROB KIERNAN Was a commanding figure at the back for Rangers as Hearts were kept at bay. Terrific bullet header to open the scoring capped a fine performance. 8

LEE WALLACE Dealt comfortably with the Hearts attack and was influential going forward. Could have opened the scoring in the first half after a neat Gers move. 7

JASON HOLT An all-action display from the midfielder. Covered every blade of grass in the middle of the park and was a real influence for Warburton’s side. 8

ANDY HALLIDAY Lucky not to sustain a serious injury after a crunching tackle from Djoum early on. Dusted himself down to help the Gers control the midfield. 7

JAMES TAVERNIER Recalled to the starting line-up but utilised in an unfamiliar central role. Didn’t look out of place in midfield and pinpoint cross allowed Kiernan to score. 7

KENNY MILLER Should have opened the scoring in the first half but his lob over Hamilton didn’t hit the target. Always available and always running in another key showing. 7

BARRIE MCKAY It hasn’t been a vintage campaign for the winger but Warburton will hope this is a sign of things to come. Terrific display as showed his pace and trickery on the flank and deserved his goal. 9

JOE GARNER Couldn’t make Ibrox roar by finding the net but received a standing ovation when he was replaced. Thrived in the physical battle and lead the line superbly. 8

MARTYN WAGHORN (for Miller) Will be frustrated not to have got back on the score sheet after passing up a couple of chances but once again impressed from the bench. 6

JOE DODOO (for Garner) Didn’t have to be a super sub this time around but helped Rangers see the game out. 4

LIAM BURT (for McKay) On for his third appearance for the Gers in the final minutes. 2
