WES FODERINGHAM Left exposed by his defence at the Celtic goals. Produced a number of smart stops to keep Rangers in it. Another solid showing from the keeper. 7

CLINT HILL Warburton gave the veteran every chance to prove his fitness and his faith was repaid. Commanding performance at the heart of the Light Blues rear guard. 7

ROB KIERNAN Struggled when Sinclair and Dembele ran at him at pace and had a few shaky moments. Use of the ball should have been better. 6

DANNY WILSON The absence of Lee Wallace ensured he kept his place in the side. Had a couple of chances with headers but couldn’t find the net. Did ok at the other end of the park. 7

JAMES TAVERNIER Put in a good cross for Miller to open the scoring. Caught out defensively, though, and should have done better for the second goal. 6

ANDY HALLIDAY Had to have his wits about him in a defensive sense and do the dirty side of the game in midfield. Put in a real shift. 7

JASON HOLT Almost gave Rangers a dream start with a shot inside the opening minute and had other effort soon after. Energetic in midfield but wasn’t as effective after the break. 7

JOSH WINDASS Was one of the few bright sparks for Rangers at Parkhead and made his presence felt again. Always looked capable of being a creative force in midfield. 7

BARRIE MCKAY Produced one of his best performances at Hampden last season and was terrific against Celtic once again. Showed pace and trickery on the left and was always a threat. 8

KENNY MILLER In the twilight of his career, the striker continues to shine on the big stage. Opened the scoring after 11 minutes and should have levelled the game with ten remaining. 8

JOE GARNER Scored at Parkhead but didn’t get a chance at Ibrox. Stretched off after a collision with Sviatchenko in the build-up to the opener. 3

MARTYN WAGHORN (for Garner 15) Switched between central and right wide berths. Should have done better when put through by McKay but couldn’t get his first derby goal. 6

JOE DODOO (for Windass 64) Added energy to the Gers attack but there were no super sub heroics this time. 4

HARRY FORRESTER (for Holt 81) Warburton’s last throw of the dice couldn’t rescue a point for the Gers. 3
