Motherwell's defence of the Youth Cup is still alive after a dramatic 4-3 win over Partick Thistle.
Stephen Craigan's young Steelmen sealed their passage into the semi-finals at Firhill courtesy of a Dylan Mackin winner 87 minutes from time.
It was a cruel blow for the Jags who were two goals up after just 10 minutes, Callum Wilson and Kevin Nisbet doing the damage.
Mackin's header started the comeback on 16 minutes with Davie Turnbull and Jake Hastie turning the game on its head before half-time.
Nisbet grabbed a second to level shortly into the second half, but Mackin and Motherwell would not be denied late on.
Boss Craigan said: "It's probably been five or six weeks since the lads last played.
"I didn't expect to be 2-0 down after seven minutes but the one thing you realise with this group of players is no matter who asks questions of them, they have the answers."
