Niall Keown became Partick Thistle's second signing of the January window yesterday after joining the club on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old centre-half, son of former Arsenal defender Martin Keown, sealed the move from Reading yesterday, and he may go straight into the side for Saturday's clash with Inverness with Danny Devine suspended.
As Keown checked in, another Thistle defender looked to be heading out of the club, as Ziggy Gordon travelled to Poland to discuss a contract with league leaders Jagiellonia Bia?ystok.
Gordon, whose mother is from Poland, only joined the Jags in the summer, but with his deal set to expire at the end of the season and regular right-back Mustapha Dumbuya returning from injury, Thistle won't demand a fee if he can agree terms.
