Aberdeen are facing a number of injury problems ahead of Sunday's William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final against Partick Thistle.

Mark Reynolds is facing surgery after going off at half-time in Tuesday's 1-0 Ladbrokes Premiership defeat by Hamilton while Ryan Jack sustained an ankle injury at the SuperSeal Stadium.

Jonny Hayes (hamstring) and Jayden Stockley (shoulder) missed the game through injury.

Manager Derek McInnes said: "Mark Reynolds was injured. He has been struggling a bit with a groin problem and we think it may have developed into a hernia so we think Mark will be out for about four weeks.

"And Ryan Jack, his injury it was down to the surface. It was his ankle. That is a real worry as well.

"I expect both players to be out for a period of time.

"We are hopeful Jonny Hayes won't be out for too long but I think he will miss Sunday. Hopefully we might get Jayden back for Sunday because all of a sudden, the squad is really stretched."
