RANGERS are 'shocked and saddened' by the death of Ugo Ehiogu after the former Ibrox defender passed away aged 44 on Friday.
The former England international suffered a heart attack at the Tottenham Hotspur training ground, where he was coaching the club's Under-23 side.
He was rushed to hospital but passed away on Friday morning.
Ehiogu is fondly remembered by Gers fans for the spectacular overhead goal he scored against Celtic at Parkhead in 2007 during his year-long spell in Glasgow.

On Friday morning the club released a statement to offer condolences to his family and friends.
It read: "Rangers Football Club is shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of former defender Ugo Ehiogu.
"The 44-year-old Englishman joined the Light Blues when Walter Smith returned as manager in 2007 and made a huge impact in his short time in Glasgow – notably his winning goal at Celtic Park in the derby.
"He died after suffering a heart attack at Tottenham’s training ground and everyone associated with the club sends their sincere condolences to Ugo’s family and friends at this difficult time."
Celtic also offered sympathies to Ehiogu's loved ones with a post on their official Twitter account.
