CRAIG GORDON: Little to do throughout but will have been irked at blotting his copybook with a late goal. 7

MIKAEL LUSTIG: Defensively strong and plenty of time and space to move the ball forward. Got the fifth goal of the afternoon – a fine strike too -  and celebrated with as much gusto as he did in the Hogmonay fixture when he was at the heart of the party at the full-time whistle. Booked for lifting his top over his head. 8

DEDRYCK BOYATA: Netted the fourth with a powerful header from Griffiths’ corner and put in a shift throughout.  Booked for a foul on Joe Garner and is another who will be irked at not keeping a clean sheet. However, a minor blemish on anotherwise good day at the office. 8

JOZO SIMUNOVIC: Clattered through Kenny Miller midway through the opening half to incur the wrath of an already irate Rangers support but did seem to take the ball. Later on, committed himself to winning the ball when he slid on Miller as the Ibrox striker netted a consolation strike. 8

KIERAN TIERNEY: Terrific performance. Up and down the flank for the entirety of the game, at times so far forward that he was essentially playing the role of a winger. Disciplined enough to get back when necessary but always a threat going forward with his deliveries into the box. 8

SCOTT SINCLAIR: Calm in dispatch of the penalty but missed a sitter at the back post on the half hour mark that he ought to have buried. Intrinsic to Celtic’s movement and dominance in the middle of the park. 8

STUART ARMSTRONG: Robbed Emerson Hyndman to take the ball and set up Griffiths for Celtic’s second. Energetic in the middle of the park and always looking to play the forward pass. Final act of the day was to fire a shot just wide of the right-hand post from distance. 8

SCOTT BROWN: In the midst of it, as always. Confronted by a fan who bolted onto the pitch and then lucky to escape sanction for a tussle with Kenny Miller. Patrolled the middle of the park and took his moment when he was replaced with a minute of regulation time to go to salute the Hoops support. 9

CALLUM MCGREGOR: Advanced position to support Griffiths and involved in much of what was good about Celtic’s forward play. Had one particularly incisive move before the interval when he cut entirely through the Ibrox defence before delivering a pacey ball into the six yard box that was scrambled to safety. Deserved his moment that came with the goal. 9

PATRICK ROBERTS: Gold boots to match the golden highlights. From Celtic’s point of view, a performance to match as he tormented Myles Beerman . Won the penalty after being tripped by Myles Beerman and was instrumental in teeing up McGregor for the third. 8

LEIGH GRIFFITHS: Cracking second goal when he struck the ball sweetly with his left-foot from just inside the box to ping it into the top corner to sink his first goal at Ibrox. Struck the woodwork shortly after. Skied a free-kick on the hour mark that he will feel he could have done better with. Set up Boyata for the fourth. 9

JAMES FORREST (for Patrick Roberts, 72): One cracking run that took him goalwards before he lost control of the ball.

TOM ROGIC (for Stuart Armstrong, 77): On for the latter stages but little to do.

EBOUE (for Scott Brown,90): Stepped onto the pitch as the whistle blew.
