DANNY WILSON will discover next week if he will be fit to start pre-season training with Rangers after being ruled out of the final three fixtures this term.

The defender was forced off in the second half of the win over Partick Thistle on Sunday and has been given crutches and a protective brace on his knee.

Wilson won’t feature against Hearts this weekend or in the Premiership clashes with Aberdeen and St Johnstone as Rangers round off the campaign in the coming days.

The Light Blues return to pre-season training on June 5 and boss Pedro Caixinha will find out soon if the 25-year-old will be able to join his new look squad.

Caixinha said: “We just need to wait for the results.

“He will see a specialist in London on Tuesday, we will see from there.

“He won’t play again this season and there’s a possibility he could miss the start of next season.

“There is an issue regarding ligaments we believe but, again, until he has seen the specialist we won’t know the full extent.

“It is not a tear, that much we do know.”
