EFE Ambrose’s move to Hibernian has been formally completed, the Easter Road club have announced.
The Nigeria international, 28, has joined Neil Lennon’s side on a two-year deal following a short-term loan from Celtic towards the end of last season, during which he made 12 appearances.
The defender, who can operate at centre-back and right-back, required an endorsement from the SFA and a visa prior to his deal being ratified, but with the paperwork complete he will re-join the Hibs squad ahead of their return to the Ladbrokes Premiership next season.
Chief executive Leeann Dempster said: “Efe is a player of real quality, and one who excited the fans when he arrived.
“The club as a whole are delighted to be bringing in a player with his quality and experience.”
