PEDRO CAIXINHA is delighted to have three of his Ibrox stars back in action after Rangers recorded their first win of the campaign on Thursday.
The Light Blues stepped up their preparations for the new season with a 5-0 victory against Coleraine at Auchenhowie.
Caixinha saw Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack and Dalcio in action for the first time, while Lee Wallace, Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar all returned after their respective injury lay-offs last term.
And the Portuguese was pleased to see his side taking their messages from the training ground into a match situation.
“I’m not too worried with individuals,” he told RangersTV. “Of course, we have an individual profile for each of the players and we need to assess them individually, but it was important too to have Lee back, it was important to have Niko back and it was also important to have Jordan back.
“So, beside those new players we had players who were also new as they hadn’t had the possibility to play for us.
“The important thing is all of them are getting the message, all of them are meeting the standards that we demand, that this club demands and they are definitely doing their best.
“It is also important that not only the quality, but the process that leads to that quality. The team looked to put things in practice and I need to be happy with that as it means they have the right stimulations, the right adaptations and the right decisions.”
