ROSENBORG boss Kare Ingebrigtsen has boasted his team are on the same level as Celtic ahead of tonight’s Euro crunch tie in Trondheim.

The Norwegian’s looked accomplished at Parkhead in the first leg of this third round Champions League qualifier and could have taken a lead back with them.

Celtic will be boosted by the presence of Leigh Griffiths in this squad as well as the confidence from hammering Sunderland 5-0 at the weekend.

However, Ingebrigtsen was bullish when speaking ahead of this evening’s expected sell-out at the Lerkendal Stadium.

"It's a lot about doing what we can, trusting ourselves and actually daring to do it,” he said.

"We showed in Glasgow that we are at the level of this Celtic team.

"We had chances in Glasgow but we cannot go around disappointed with the amazing fight we put up.

"To go through, you normally have to win one of the two matches and that's what we look to do.

"The pressure left us in Glasgow. I don't feel it anymore.

"Before the Dundalk game, it was relatively quiet. Now I don't see a bunch of ghosts.

"There is a good mood in the team and we have a lot of confidence.

"It's a good starting point. After the experience in Glasgow, we know that it's terribly tough to beat Celtic.

"But we also know that it is possible.”

It was a mood shared by his captain Mike Jensen, who added: "We need to treat the Celtic game like Dundalk. We must be calm, but we must also score goals.

"There will be some gas and brake at the same time.

"It is important to be hugely compact defensively. I think we'll have some more time with the ball this time.

"We have to put the chances away this time. We must score goals to move on.

"There is no way to speculate in 0-0 and penalties. No, we must score.

"I think we are going to create chances. The question is how many we manage to convert

"It will be great if we can move on from this round. It will be exciting - a wild fight!”
