GORDON: Little to do and had a youthful back four in front of him. Nothing of note that troubled him particularly. (6)

RALSTON: 18-year-old right-back had another good game and will satisfied at his integration into the first-team. Looks like a very capable deputy for Mikael Lustig and bombed up and down for the majority of the game while also sticking to defensive tasks. (7)

TIERNEY: The veteran of the defence on Saturday, the youngster coped with moving inside. Still also managed to get forward at times. No sign of any tired legs despite the midweek performance against Astana. (7)

AJER: The Norwegian defender looked comfortable coming up against some of the team-mates that he spent a loan spell with last term. Another who looks like he will benefit from continued first-team exposure this season. (7)

MILLER: Took the man-of-the-match award and, having recently been moved to a left-back role, did particularly well. Took a leaf out of Tierney's book by getting up and down in support of the strikers. Good game from the youngster. (7)

BROWN: Strolled through a game that Celtic coasted. Worked hard in the middle of the park as he protected an inexperienced defence. (7)

ARMSTRONG: First game since signing his new deal. Still a bit short of the form that he displayed latterly throughout last season but will look to kick in now as he has settled his immediate future. (6)

MCGREGOR: Will be pleased with the late goal he claimed. Brings an energy and endeavour to Celtic and can consider himself a little unlucky to have been on the bench recently. Made the most of his chance. (7)

ROGIC: Two moments of genuine creativity as he set up Forrest for the opener and then set up McGregor for a second. Plays as though the ball is on a string stuck to his boot. (8)

BENYU: Another start for the youngster who will be expected to feature a little more as the season goes on. Decent game and will look to build up his match fitness now as he integrates into the Hoops first-team. (7)

FORREST: Netted his second goal in as many games when he kept a calm head to dispatch the first of Celtic's two goals. With Patrick Roberts set for a return to the club this week, he'll be under pressure to maintain a certain level of performance. (7)

BITTON: A second half arrival as he came on for the latter stages once Celtic looked to see the game out. The Israeli caused a late commotion when he went over on his ankle but is expected to be fit for tomorrow night's game. (5)

LUSTIG: Anther one who was late to the game as he came off the bench for the final stages. Little of note to cope with. (5)

GRIFFTHS: Wrapped in cotton wool as the only fit striker at the club. Got a late run out to keep him ticking over before Celtic will look to him to finish off Astana in Kazakhstan tomorrow night. (5)
