WITH several Celtic talents plying their trade away from Parkhead this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

Scottish Premiership

Ryan Christie (Aberdeen) and Scott Allan (Dundee)

Two Hoops loanees came face-to-face on Saturday as Aberdeen ran out 2-1 winners against struggling Dundee at Pittodrie. Christie suffered a moment to forget when his slack pass was picked up by Roarie Deacon, who intercepted before firing in the Dee’s equaliser.

Soon after, Allan squandered a glorious chance to put the visitors in front when he shot wide unmarked from 12 yards out. Both players have been heavily involved for their respective clubs so far this season, with Christie scoring twice in eight appearances and Allan also featuring eight times.

Jamie Lindsay (Ross County)

Young midfielder Lindsay played another 90 minutes for the Staggies as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Motherwell at Fir Park. Playing in a deep-lying role, the 21-year-old made his eighth appearance of the campaign but couldn’t help 10-man County avoid defeat.

Scottish Championship

Joe Thomson (Livingston)

The Livi midfielder picked up a yellow card as his side fell to a 3-1 defeat at home to 10-man St Mirren, his second booking in two games so far this season.

Sam Wardrop (Dumbarton)

Dumbarton are still looking for their first win of the season after losing 1-0 away to Queen of the South. On-loan Celtic defender Wardrop played the full 90 minutes, picking up a yellow card in his fourth outing of the season.
