CELTIC are one small step away from a return to the Champions League group stages, but will have to deal with a five hour time difference and an opposition thirsty for revenge in Kazakhstan this afternoon.

When and where is it taking place?

The game kicks off at 4.30pm UK time (9.30pm local time) at the Astana Arena.

What channel is it on?

It’ll be shown live on BT Sport 2, with coverage beginning at 4pm.

What happened in the first leg?

It couldn’t have gone much better for Celtic, who ran out 5-0 winners at Parkhead thanks to two own goals, a double from Scott Sinclair and a James Forrest strike. The Kazakh champions have it all to do now.

Celtic team news

The Bhoys are still without the injured Moussa Dembele, Dedryck Boyata, Eboue Kouassi and Erik Sviatchenko.

Nir Bitton is also a doubt after picking up a foot injury during Saturday’s win over Kilmarnock.

What have the managers said?

Brendan Rodgers: "We worked very well in the first leg but we need to complete the job. We think of it as zero-zero, that is our approach and we want to get a good result."

Stanimir Stoilov: “I have to be realistic. Celtic are 99 per cent through to the group stages. Our chances are not so great but anything can happen. But, to be realistic, Celtic will be going through. Barcelona can do these kind of unreal things - we don’t.”

When is the group stage draw?

As long as Celtic finish off the job, they will be part of the group stage draw in Monaco at 5pm on Thursday 24 August.
