PARTICK THISTLE'S Ladbrokes Premiership fixture against Hearts will kick off at 4pm in order to 'minimise overlap' with the first Rangers v Celtic clash of the season.
Brendan Rodgers' side travel to Ibrox on Saturday 23 September, with kick-off set for midday.
Thistle had been set to welcome the Jambos to Firhill at 3pm, but the SPFL announced on Tuesday that following discussions with Police Scotland the start time has been pushed back by an hour.
This is in order to 'minimise overlap with the Rangers v Celtic fixture', according to an SPFL statement.
Alan Archibald's side are still looking for their first points of the season after league defeats against Hibs, Celtic and St Johnstone.
They host Aberdeen this Saturday before domestic action is postponed for the international break.
