Celtic are believed to be weighing up a loan move for 19-year-old PSG striker Odsonne Edouard.

The Parkhead club are in the hunt for a striker and a central defender before Thursday's midnight transfer window deadline.

Edouard's name has come to prominence with reports in the French media linking the player with a switch to Celtic.

Unlikely to force his way into PSG's side, Edouard could be set for another loan move after spending last term farmed out to Toulouse in Ligue 1.

That deal was cut short after the teenager was involved in an airgun incident which eventually led to a four month suspended prison sentence.

Edouard returned to PSG but has been unable to force his way into gaffer Unai Emery’s plans.
