ERIK SVIATCHENKO has ruled out a deadline day departure from Celtic and accepts being third choice centre-back under Brendan Rodgers.
The Denmark international has been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, but revealed on transfer deadline day that he doesn't expect a dramatic late exit from Glasgow.
Sviatchenko is currently out injured and told Danish outlet BT that he does not believe a departure is in the pipeline.

"I expect to stay at Celtic," he said.
"Here I will remain the third choice central defender, but that may change when I come back.
"Now it's about getting as strong as possible so I can join in with an exciting and busy autumn with the Champions League and many other important matches."
