I was at the Paisley 2021 Stadium to see Scotland Under-21s beat Holland this week and I was really impressed with the performance of Scot Gemmill’s side.
They played as a unit, they were hard to beat and they never allowed the Dutch to play. But then when they had the ball, they played some really good stuff themselves.
They pressed the play, forced Holland to make mistakes, they won their headers and made their tackles. Going forward, they were great to watch.

Malky Mackay has come into the Scottish FA and he has his blueprint for bringing players through the ranks but Scot has been in there for a few years now. I think he could have a really good campaign with the 21s and they have every chance of qualifying from the section.
The man that I have been talking about for a while was again outstanding and that is Lewis Morgan of St Mirren.
He is in the last year of his contract there and they will be desperate for him to sign another deal so that he doesn’t walk away next summer for not an awful lot of money.
He is one that is going places. I thought he was terrific again, and he has been for a while for St Mirren.
He has pace, he is a goal threat and he loves running at full-backs. He could be a very, very good wide player and there will certainly be interest in him. Could he be the one for Rangers?
