PEDRO CAIXINHA admits Rangers have ‘three finals’ coming up before they host Celtic in the first Old Firm fixture of the season this month.

The Light Blues return to Premiership action against Dundee tomorrow afternoon aiming to build on their win over Ross County before the international break.

Rangers will then face Partick Thistle on league and Betfred Cup duty before Celtic make the trip across Glasgow on Saturday, September 23.

Caixinha said: “I cannot think about that (the Celtic game). If I think about that, I will disrespect the three games I have before. And they are three finals.

“Against Dundee, it is a final because we need to win this game at home. Our fans deserve it.

“We did a lot to win the previous two games at Ibrox but we didn’t win. Now we want the win.

“When we play Partick, it will be the same because we want to keep our away from. Then in the second game against Partick, you either win or you are out. It is going to be three finals, definitely.

“I don’t care what is going to happen one month from now. I can’t control it. But I can control what is going to happen on Saturday.”

Victory over County last time out was a welcome boost for Caixinha after back-to-back disappointments at home to Hibernian and Hearts.

And the Portuguese hopes it will be third time lucky for the Gers on home soil as they get set to face Neil McCann’s side.

He said: “We are definitely looking forward to going back [to Ibrox]. It is going to be Armed Forces day and we are pleased with that.

“We are pleased with winning the last game and we want to deliver the first three points for our fan base and to connect one victory into another.

“It’s always important to win – and win our way. We have confidence in what we do, the work we do in order to have things happening the game.

“It was important for us to win at that time to regain our momentum. Now we want to build it again. We need to go game by game.”
