GRAHAM DORRANS is pleased to see Rangers have reacted in the right way following their double Ibrox disappointment last month.

The Light Blues dropped five points on successive weekends as they went down 3-2 to Hibernian and were held to a goalless draw by Hearts.

But the Gers got back to winning ways with a battling victory over Ross County before the international break.

And Pedro Caixinha’s side eased to their third Premiership win of the campaign on Saturday as they overcame Dundee thanks to two goals from Alfredo Morelos and efforts from Josh Windass and Carlos Pena.

A late consolation from Faissal El Bakhtaoui was the only negative of the afternoon for the Portuguese boss as his side recorded their first home league win this term.

Rangers now face a league and cup double-header with Partick Thistle before the first Old Firm fixture of the season in a fortnight.

And midfielder Dorrans was satisfied with a comfortable win as Neil McCann saw his side struggle on his first trip to Ibrox as a boss.

He said: “It ended up a comfortable win for us. We started the game well.

“We maybe tailed off a little bit then we got the goal and it settled us a little bit.

“I thought we could play a lot better than we did in the first half.

“Second half I thought we were comfortable and we controlled the game.

“Probably the first goal late in the first half settled us down.

“But second half we came out and controlled the game and we deserved to win like that.

“I think we were building momentum, at the start of the season with the friendlies we had then against Hibs and Hearts we played really well.

“In the Hibs game we got a man sent off. Against Hearts I thought we did enough to win but ultimately we didn’t.

“So it’s good to get a few results on the back of that and build momentum.”
