PEDRO CAIXINHA has praised midfielder Jason Holt for his Ibrox work ethic after he made just his third appearance of the campaign against Partick Thistle.
The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact for Rangers this season as his chances to impress have been limited.
But he came off the bench on Tuesday night to help the Light Blues reach the semi-finals of the Betfred Cup with a 3-1 extra time win at Firhill.
Caixinha said: “Let me say, it would be really unfair for me if I didn’t refer to Jason Holt.
“He is a hard worker. We kept him from last season because he is always like this and you know that you really can count on him.
“He did a great job, he gave a new energy to the midfield and he helped us to keep the team balanced and have the arrivals also at the same time.”
