RANGERS defender Bruno Alves is back in training with the Portugal national team following a recent injury.
The veteran centre-back was forced to sit out the defeat to rivals Celtic at Ibrox as well as last Friday's win over Hamilton Accies after limping off during a Betfred Cup victory over Partick Thistle.
Youngster Ross McCrorie was praised for his performances in Alves' absence, but the 35-year-old confirmed he is fit again with a post on Instagram on Wednesday.
He posted an acrobatic picture and wrote: "Happy for the first training after injury and back to the Portugal national team!"
Portugal finish off their Russia 2018 qualifying campaign with a trip to Andorra on Saturday before a home game against Switzerland next Tuesday.
Pedro Caixinha will then be hoping to see the centre-back return for the Gers' trip to St Johnstone on 13 October.
