RANGERS fan favourite Nacho Novo has returned to the club to assist Pedro Caixinha with a coaching session.
The Spaniard, who spent six years at Ibrox between 2004 and 2010, was pictured on the training ground alongside the Portuguese boss ahead of Friday's Ladbrokes Premiership trip to St Johnstone.
Novo won three league titles, two League Cups and one Scottish Cup while playing for the Light Blues, as well as helping them reach the 2007/08 UEFA Cup final.
Veteran striker Kenny Miller was also being put through his paces after making peace with the manager following his omission from the squad before the international break.
Rangers go into Friday's match in Perth level on 14 points with Saints and a win would help close the six-point gap to leading pair Celtic and Aberdeen.
