De VRIES: Three cracking saves, one in particular from close range to deny Roarie Deacon after he was one-on-one with the keeper. Will have done his confidence no harm at all to step back in and produce a strong performance. (8)
GAMBOA: Another who has not had much game time but returned and put in a strong display. Involved in a clash of heads with Jack Hendry that Neil McCann thought was a penalty but few others in the ground would have shared his view. (7)
BITTON: Back in at the back in the absence of Jozo Simunovic. Was fine for the most part but is clearly far more comfortable in the middle of the park. Fine to help out at the back when and if required. (6)

BOYATA: Strong display from the Belgian defender who is coming back into good form after a three-month injury lay-off. Will be expected to team up with Simunovic for the midweek trip to Munich for the Champions League meeting with Bayern. (7)
TIERNEY: Captain for the day. Almost marked the occasion with a goal in the opening period. Back to his favourable berth on the left-hand side and got up and down the flank as always. (7)
ROBERTS: Indulged in a spot of ball juggling in the final minutes that may well have got him cemented had his feet not been quite so quick. Celtic’s best player – with de Vries - on Saturday afternoon with his direct running and balls into the box. Came close to finding the net too. (8)
KOUASSI: Relatively anonymous display from the midfielder. Game seemed to pass him by although he is not long back to fitness after ankle surgery. Could be he needs to build up his match fitness but Celtic not seen the best of him yet. Replaced early in the second period. (5)
MCGREGOR: Unlucky with one effort he flashed just wide of the post in the opening minutes after linking well with Gamboa. Had another chance well saved by Scott Bain. Full of industry and running. (7)
NTCHAM: Got the goal after a bit of slackness from Dundee and made sure with a swirling 25-yard effort. Decent afternoon in the middle of the park and will be pleased to have added to his goal tally. (7)
SINCLAIR: Back on the pitch after a two-week absence as the majority of his team-mates headed off on international duty. Tested the Dundee keeper with a couple of attempts as he cut inside. (7)

GRIFFITHS: One shot that he cannoned off Bain but looked a little lethargic after his Scotland exertions. Replaced by Moussa Dembele in the late stages of the game. (6)
HENDERSON: First outing of the season as he came on to take over from Kouassi. Will hope for a little more game time after kicking his heels for the early part of this campaign. (5)
DEMBELE: Took over from Griffiths with just under 8 minutes of the game remaining. First act was to play in Sinclair, but the effort came to nothing. Another one keen to work up his fitness. (5)
AJER: Took over from the tiring Gamboa for the final ten minutes of the game. (4)
