WITH several Celtic talents plying their trade away from Parkhead this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

Scottish Premiership

Ryan Christie (Aberdeen)

Christie started for the Dons as they recorded a vital 1-0 win away to Hibernian.

The youngster’s side are keeping pace with Celtic at the top of the table on 23 points and are still unbeaten in the Premiership this season. He was substituted for defender Mark Reynolds late on as Derek McInnes looked to see out the game.

Scott Allan (Dundee)

The midfielder is currently recovering from a groin operation, but would not have been able to feature against his parent club in any case as the Hoops beat Dundee 1-0.

Jamie Lindsay (Ross County)

Lindsay was restored to the starting lineup for Owen Coyle’s first home game as Staggies boss and played a full 90 minutes. The midfielder picked up a yellow card as his side fell to a 2-1 defeat against the 10-man Jambos, a result that leaves the Highlanders just one point above the drop zone.

Scottish Championship

Joe Thomson (Livingston)

There was no space for Thomson in David Hopkin’s squad as they defeated Dundee United 2-0 to move into second place.

Sam Wardrop (Dumbarton)

Wardrop played every minute of Ton’s 2-0 home loss against league leaders St Mirren, their third loss in a row.

English League One

Nadir Ciftci (Plymouth Argyle)

The striker was left out of Derek Adams’ match day squad for the 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury.

Ciftci is yet to score for Argyle since completing his loan move south and has been dropped for recent games following a run of starts.
