RANGERS are ‘cutting their own throat’ over the row between Pedro Caixinha and Kenny Miller, according to Ally McCoist.

The Portugese boss left the veteran striker out of his squad for a league meeting with Hamilton Accies before the international break, before his agent Dave Baldwin hit out at the club’s treatment of Miller on social media.

Former Light Blues striker McCoist told TalkSport on Friday that the Ibrox club are only damaging themselves by letting the saga drag on.

“He [Pedro] has not alleged anything at the moment,” said McCoist.

“He’s not happy – he has a mole in the dressing room. He has insinuated there is a mole and that things have been leaked.

“He has not said it is Kenny Miller. But it has been noticeable that Kenny hasn’t been in the last couple of squads.

“There has been a meeting with Kenny and the manager.

“And indeed I did notice that Kenny’s agent has very recently had a serious go at the management and the way the management has handled the situation.

“It’s not good, it’s not good. As if Rangers don’t have trouble to seek at the moment, people seem to be cutting their own throat with some of the stuff.”
