YOUR job as a striker for Rangers is to score goals. Pure and simple.

Alfredo Morelos has not found the net for eight games in a row now and that will be concerning him.

The fans like the big guy. They admire the way he tends to be on his own against two centre-halves and he does battle away all game.

Indeed, he’s probably committed more fouls than most because he does like to get the face of a defender.

And that's fine.

There’s nothing wrong with that. If you are scoring goals AND putting a dunt or two into a centre-half then that’s a huge bonus.

However, for a team to do well, they need the striker to get among the goals. Morelos has to find his touch again.

It's perhaps not been seen as that big a concern given that in recent times the goals have been coming from all over the team.

But while it's hardly the time to panic, Morelos could so with one going in off his backside.

I'd actually fancy him to go on a run if he could break his duck.

The Columbian enjoyed a fine run of games a few weeks back when his hard work was being rewarded by goals.

He needs to get back to that.

Rangers haven't been creating as many chances fro him, that has to be said, but when they have come Morelos's way he's not been taking them.

And goal-scorers live to score goals.
