WITH several Rangers players plying their trade away from Ibrox this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

Scottish Premiership

Michael O’Halloran (St Johnstone)

The Gers winger helped Saints end a terrible run of form with an impressive 2-1 win away to Hibernian. O’Halloran was in from the start and looking lively, setting up a great chance for Liam Craig in the first half which came back off the crossbar.

He then had an opportunity of his own saved from a tight angle before playing a crucial part in the Perth side’s injury time winner, beating his defender on the right wing to send in a cross that resulted in Steven MacLean’s close range finish after an initial save from Ofir Marciano.

Azerbaijan Premier League

Andy Halliday (Qabala)

Halliday was again left out of the Qabala team as they secured a 3-2 win away to Neftci that keeps them in the running for the title.

English League One

Harry Forrester (AFC Wimbledon)

Forrester netted his second goal for Wimbledon with a superb strike into the top corner from a tight angle during his side’s 3-1 League One win. The Rangers man went on to pick up a yellow card before being substituted on the 82nd minute.

Joe Dodoo (Charlton)

Dodoo failed to make it off the substitute’s bench as Charlton were held to a 2-2 draw at home to MK Dons.

Scottish League Two

Robby McCrorie (Berwick Rangers)

McCrorie was selected in goal for the Wee Gers again and played the full 90 minutes as his side were knocked out of the Scottish Cup at the third round stage by Arbroath.
