Dundee

Darren O'Dea will miss Dundee's game against Rangers on Friday night due to suspension.

The defender and captain was sent off after being shown two yellow cards in the goalless draw against Kilmarnock last week and is likely to be replaced by Josh Meekings as he sits out the next two games.

Meekings was on the bench after experiencing swelling around his troublesome knee, while Kerr Waddell has returned to training following an arm problem but will not play. Lewis Spence has undergone ankle surgery and will also miss out.

Provisional squad: Parish, Ferie, Kerr, Meekings, Hendry, Gadzhalov, Etxabeguren, Aurtenetxe, Holt, Vincent, O'Hara, McGowan, Allan, Kamara, El Bakhtaoui, Deacon, Curran, Leitch-Smith, Moussa, Wolters, Haber.

Rangers

Bruno Alves will again miss out for Rangers as they take on Dundee at Dens Park on Friday night.

The Portuguese defender sat out last week's defeat to Hamilton with a back injury and while he has resumed light training, the 35-year-old is not ready to return to action with Graeme Murty's men.

Left-back Declan John has shaken off a sickness bug to declare himself fit but skipper Lee Wallace (groin), Graham Dorrans (ankle) and Jordan Rossiter (knee) are still working their way back to fitness.

Provisional squad: Foderingham, Tavernier, Hodson, John, D Wilson, Cardoso, McCrorie, Holt, Jack, Dalcio, Windass, Nemane, Pena, Miller, Morelos, Candeias, Kranjcar, Herrera, Hardie, Beerman, Alnwick.
