Friday night football. It divides opinion amongst Scottish football fans, with some enjoying the end of week treat and others preferring to negotiate their weekend away trip on a Saturday afternoon.

Rangers travel to Dundee tonight looking to bounce back from their defeat to Hamilton last weekend in what will be their fourth end of week clash of the season.

That is double the number any other team has played, with Celtic, Partick Thistle and Accies all having two Friday fixtures so far and one for St Johnstone.

One thing is for sure, the televised games under the floodlights haven't lacked in entertainment.

An average of 3.6 goals per game has been scored in the five matches so far, with the net being hit 12 times in Rangers' three Friday encounters.

All of the Light Blues' games have been away trips with wins coming against St Johnstone and Hamilton after a 2-2 draw at Firhill against Partick Thistle.

Will it be more of the same for the Light Blues tonight?
