WITH several Celtic talents plying their trade away from Parkhead this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

Scottish Premiership

Ryan Christie (Aberdeen)

Christie was back in the Dons team following his suspension and helped Derek McInnes’ side to a 1-0 win away to Dundee on Friday night.

The winger created a chance for himself in the first half, dancing into the Dee penalty area before firing a shot over the bar. Christie was later left furious when Graeme Shinnie failed to square a pass for him to tap in from six yards out, with the skipper electing to go for goal himself. He was then called into action at the other end of the pitch, performing a goal-line clearance late on to deny Neil McCann’s side an equaliser.

Scott Allan (Dundee)

Allan was introduced from the bench with 28 minutes of his side’s defeat to Dundee remaining as they trailed 1-0, but couldn’t inspire them to draw level.

Jamie Lindsay (Ross County)

Lindsay played the full 90 minutes as Ross County lost 2-1 to Rangers at Ibrox. The Staggies went in front early on through Craig Curran, but a second half fightback from the hosts saw Owen Coyle's side leave empty handed and they remain in the relegation play-off spot.

Scottish Championship

Sam Wardrop (Dumbarton)

Wardrop was given a week off after Dumbarton’s home game against Livingston was called off on Saturday due to adverse weather conditions.

English League One

Nadir Ciftci (Plymouth Argyle)

After returning to the bench for last week’s FA Cup second round defeat, Ciftci failed to make Derek Adams’ matchday squad for Saturday’s 2-1 league win over Gillingham.
