A number of Celtic fans were left enraged at Wednesday's Premiership clash with Partick Thistle because of 'over zealous stewarding' and young supporters being forced to supply identification.
The Scottish champions apologised to supporters last week after a letter saying season tickets could not be used by third parties provoked outrage.
Brendan Rodgers' side returned to their home ground for the first time since the letter was sent last night and checks made by security staff at Celtic Park did not go down well with sections of the home support.
Fans complained of being made to show their Facebook profiles to prove age, being harrassed and season tickets being taken away.
My 15yr old son was forced to show his fb profile to prove his age and who he was until his Dad got there at tonights game. They are just home and not very happy! @celticfc @CelticFCSLO

Absolutely raging. Looking to change the name on my brothers season ticket while he’s travelling for 4 months & Celtic tellin us he will lose his whole client code history, away entitlements & all he’s been building for 14 year @CelticFCSLO 😐

I saw the same thing in my section, a young boy probs about 12/13 was taken away from his father into a corner and made to show fb profile

@CelticFCSLO Lot of over zealous stewarding with people having season tickets taken off them. For such a big club Celtic have more or less always been a PR disaster. pic.twitter.com/oe3XCrhade

My son was in his bed sick and couldn’t make the game so I took my 16 year old daughter. We were confronted by stewards after entering the turnstiles who confiscated the ticket and told us to leave the ground and buy a ticket from the ticket office and the club would contact us

Celtic face Aberdeen at home on Saturday before a boxing day clash with Dundee on Boxing Day.
They then welcome Rangers to Parkhead on 30 December, their final fixture before the winter break.
