Leigh Griffiths has found his messy private life exposed again this week.
I do not want to sound like judge and executioner but there is time when you have to realise you have a responsibility and by that I don’t mean to your club. I think it has probably gone beyond that.
I did not play or coach teams of angels but at the same time you do have to take on some responsibility for the way that you are living your life.
It is something that seems to go hand in hand with Griffiths.
The one thing that you would say about him is that whatever is going around about him – and there seems to be a lot – he does not appear to be effected by it on the pitch.
It is his business and it is away from the park. But having his dirty linen aired in public doesn’t do himself or the club any favours.
At a club like Celtic, you want to have your name plastered all over the back pages of the newspapers and not the front.
Meanwhile, Lewis Morgan is the latest addition into Celtic as the Parkhead club look to pick up the best young talent in the country.
It makes sense that the lad will return to St Mirren to help them with their promotion push since he is one for the future rather than one to come and walk into the first-team at the club.
The lad has had a fabulous first-half of the season with the Paisley side and it will be up to him to show he can take it to the next level.
