WITH several Celtic talents plying their trade away from Parkhead this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

Scottish Premiership

All the Premiership clubs are currently on a winter break, with Ryan Christie travelling to Dubai with Aberdeen while Jamie Lindsay and Scott Allan stayed in Dingwall and Dundee respectively.

Nadir Ciftci last week completed a loan move to Motherwell until the end of the season, after his disappointing spell with Plymouth Argyle was cut short early. and he has joined the ‘Well squad for their warm-weather camp in Tenerife.

Scottish Championship

Lewis Morgan (St Mirren)

The winger's good form continued on Saturday as he helped Saints maintain their table-topping form away to Dumbarton.

Morgan played a full 90 minutes as goals from Cammy Smith and Stephen McGinn saw the Buddies pull eight points clear at the summit of the Championship table.

Joe Thomson (Queen of the South)

The on-loan midfielder played every minute of the Doonhamer’s trip to Inverness, the third consecutive match in which he has completed 90 minutes. However, Queens fell to a 3-1 defeat in the Highlands that saw Livingston leapfrog them into fourth place.

Sam Wardrop (Dumbarton)

Wardrop was not in the Dumbarton squad for their 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren on Saturday.

Scottish League One

Regan Hendry (Raith Rovers)

Hendry was named among the substitutes for Rovers’ top of the table clash with Ayr, but failed to make an appearance from the bench as they stayed top thanks to a 1-1 draw at Stark’s Park.

English League One

Kundai Benyu (Oldham)

The youngster made his debut for Oldham on Saturday as his new side held Rotherham United to a 1-1 draw at home.

Benyu was straight in from the start and got 74 minutes of action under his belt before being replaced by Aaron Holloway. The point kept the Latics in 20th place in the table, one spot above the relegation zone.
